How Does a Witch Find a Cat?

I'm so excited to announce that I've written a Halloween book inspired by our new cat Hocus. Hocus joined our family soon after Halloween (2020). She was so tiny and sweet we just knew she was the perfect fit for our family. Roughly two months after getting her I was laying in bed one night and started thinking about black cats, Halloween, and witches. Then I began to think about how a witch always has a black cat with her and wondered how she finds a cat. Soon I was fast asleep and awoke in the morning with the rhymes in my head for my first non-science based children's book, How Does a Witch Finds a Cat?


I've been working with QBN Studios to illustrate the book and I'm really excited that it will be released prior to Halloween and Hocus' first birthday! How Does a Witch Finds a Cat? is now available!  I honestly never saw writing in my future and it wasn't until I had my oldest daughter that things changed. When my daughter was just a baby I awoke one night with rhymes in my head. A story about her going to the beach. I jumped out of bed and grabbed the closest paper I could find - an envelope and thus began my writing journey.
